Health Benefits of Raspberries

Iced Raspberry Green Tea
3 cups of organic raspberries (fresh or frozen)
1 cup organic sugar or raw honey
4 cups boiling purified water
2 family sized green tea bags
2 ½ cups cold purified water
extra raspberries for garnish
ice cubes from organic lime juice
1. In a large container combine the raspberries and sugar or honey. Use a wooden spoon.
2. Add 4 cups boiling water to the family sized green tea bags. Let tea steep for 3 minutes. Discard tea bags.
3. Pour tea over raspberry mixture & let stand 1 hour. Stir to dissolve sugar or honey.
4. Pour tea mixture through a wire mesh strainer into a 2 quart pitcher. (Discard the crushed solids, or save for another use, such as adding to a smoothie.) Pour the cold water into the tea. Cover and chill until ready to serve. Garnish with extra berries or lime, if desired. Serve over ice.
