Tips to help you move forward...

There are some really good suggestions here on how to move forward in your life. It's not always easy, but I can say that it will be worth it.
As most of you know, I am unable to plan ahead. I never know how I am going to feel physically and I always have that uncertainty of not knowing if I'm going to need to cancel. I hate having to cancel on people. If you don't suffer from a chronic illness, then it will be very hard for you to understand the struggle we face, every single day.
I am currently trying to work on getting my health back to a good state. I miss having the freedom to be able to make plans and actually keep them. So even if it takes me one step at a time, I know will time and patience, I'll eventually get there.
I can't wait to begin this new chapter in my life. I hope that along the way, I am able to help others with their hardships. I have had so many people offer me their support and always give me encouragement. I want to get myself to a point where I can pay it forward.
If you know someone that is dealing with some kind of hardship, doesn't matter if it's health issues, financial troubles, loss of a loved one... what ever it might be, please share this and let them know that you support their efforts and offer your friendship to them. We all need one another to get through these difficult times, that's what helps me to be thankful for the good times.

The Way I Was (From "Jem And The Holograms" Soundtrack)

Have you ever listened to a song and thought... wow that sounds like it wasn't written about me? Well, that is exactly what I thought when I heard this song for the first time.

Life changing moments...

I was talking to a friend earlier today, and we were talking about the word hope. And she said that what we think is what determines what will happen to us. I'm trying to remember her exact words, but I'm drawing a blank. Anyway, I never thought of it like that, until she said that to me.

For example, if we think positive thoughts, positive things will happen to us. And if we think negative thoughts, then negative things will happen to us.

Do you ever talk to someone and they say something and it completely changes your outlook on everything? I'm not big on talking on the phone, but I think that is going to change. One conversation with someone can help your whole outlook on life and can change your entire day.

I've been brainstorming

These last few weeks, I've been brainstorming like crazy. I've been trying to think of idea's that will help me further reach my goals. My first major goal is to overcome the obstacles I am facing to reach those goals.
I know some of you don't know me all that well so I wanted to share a little something personal about myself.
I am 34 years of age. I am currently disabled, permanently according to my Doctor's diagnosis. I refuse to believe that. I guess it's the stubborn part of me kicking in. So as you may know, I live on disability, so trying to live a healthy and comfortable life isn't the greatest. The only good part about my disability benefits is the medical coverage I receive, it's really good. It's the income part that is really giving me hardships.
I want to work, but my Doctor's refuse to release me. So the next best thing for me would be to work from home. One little snag, I never have the money to start a new home business. I am a rep for Avon, but that hasn't really taken off, not by a long shot. And I have skills as a freelance graphic designer, but finding clients is a real challenge. I really would love to become a beach body coach, not only for earning extra income, but I want to try and see if I can use some of their programs to help with my health issues.
I have thought about starting a gofundme campaign, but I am not sure if I would receive any support in that regard. I plan to pay it forward once I get myself out of this slump. But I know that people who don't know me are really reluctant to help because of all the dishonesty in the world. So I'm not sure what to do about this, any suggestions?
I know this isn't a weight loss related post, but it is health related so I thought I would ask for some advice here.
Do you have any suggestions?
